PP REGRANULATE

PP regranulate, or polypropylene regranulate, is a modern and cost-effective material used in many production processes, combining high technical parameters with lower costs and a smaller environmental impact.

At HillTrade, we specialise in supplying the highest quality PP regranulate to companies in the technical, automotive, construction and packaging industries.

Thanks to our experience, stable logistics and rigorous quality control, we guarantee the repeatability of each batch and timely deliveries. Our offer includes a wide range of variants – from universal to specialised PP regranulates, compliant with industry standards and EU requirements.

Why use PP regranulate?

The ever-increasing costs of primary raw materials, stricter environmental standards and the drive to optimise production costs are leading companies to turn to polypropylene regranulate as a viable alternative to primary materials. Regranulate made of polypropylene is a fully-fledged secondary raw material which, while maintaining the appropriate parameters, allows for lower costs and increased production profitability without compromising on quality.

What is polypropylene regranulate?

PP regranulate is a plastic obtained from recycled polypropylene waste.

In the recycling process, the material is sorted, cleaned, ground and then regranulated. The resulting granulate is ready for further use in industrial production, mainly by injection moulding. Thanks to modern technologies, HillTrade's PP regranulates retain stable technical properties and can compete with virgin materials.

Compared to virgin granules, regranulated polypropylene may exhibit slightly reduced mechanical properties and chemical resistance. However, at HillTrade, thanks to advanced technology and careful selection of raw materials, these differences are minimised. Our products achieve parameters similar to those of virgin materials, while maintaining high batch repeatability and reliability.

Each batch is tested in accordance with ISO 527, 179, 1183 and UL94 standards.

The use of PP regranulate in industry

Polypropylene regranulates are widely used in many industries:

  • Construction: insulation, panels, installation cassettes

  • Automotive: technical covers, wheel arches, vehicle interiors, number plate frames

  • Household appliances/audio-video equipment: equipment housings, handles, internal components

Available PP regranulate variants in the HillTrade offer

Black ECO PP regranulate

  • MFR: 12

  • Density: 0.938 g/cm³

  • Impact strength: 4.7 kJ/m²

→ universal, economical choice

Black PP regranulate

  • MFR: 25/45

  • Density: 0.92 g/cm³

  • Impact strength: 3.3 kJ/m²

→ fast processing, technical components

White PP regranulate

  • MFR: 10

  • Density: 0.87 g/cm³

  • Impact strength: 29 kJ/m²

→ high impact strength, can be coloured

Grey PP regranulate with 30% talc

  • MFR: 6

  • Density: 1.04 g/cm³

  • Impact strength: 2.3 kJ/m²

→ increased rigidity, structural applications

When to choose which regranulate?

ECO black polypropylene regranulate is ideal when you need a cheap and versatile material for general applications. If you want a short production cycle and good dimensional stability, black PP regranulate is the right choice. The white variant is best suited for components requiring high impact strength and the possibility of further colouring. The grey version with talc additive is the optimal solution for technical components where increased rigidity is crucial, for example in construction applications.

Why buy polypropylene regranulate from HillTrade?

  • Consistency of parameters and quality confirmed by tests.

  • Possibility to order samples for testing.

  • Timely deliveries and continuous availability.

  • Compliance with ISO, UL and EU requirements.

  • Full technical specifications for each batch of PP regranulate.

The use of PP regranulate supports the circular economy, reduces the consumption of primary raw materials and cuts CO₂ emissions. Recycled products from HillTrade comply with EU directives on sustainable production and support companies in achieving their environmental goals.
